Dates use the Chinese calendar reference, without converting a birth time or time zone. Supported birth and search years: 1901–2099. Your birth date is not saved or sent to a server.

How do leap-month birthdays work?
A leap month repeats a lunar month number. For example, 2025-07-25 is the first day of leap month 6, while 2025-06-25 is the first day of the regular month 6. The tool checks that the original lunar year actually has the selected leap month. It will not silently turn an invalid leap-month date into a regular date.
Families can observe these birthdays differently. The preference menu lets you choose a regular occurrence, prefer a leap occurrence when present, include both, or list matching leap occurrences only. The table labels each occurrence so your chosen policy is visible.
What if my birthday is lunar day 30?
Lunar months have 29 or 30 days. The default skips a target month when day 30 does not exist. You can explicitly select month-end substitution; those results are marked as adjusted. The tool does not silently move the birthday to a different month.
Save the dates to your calendar
Download calendar creates an .ics file containing the displayed all-day birthday dates. Import it into your calendar app. It includes no original birth date or age and does not create an online account. The dates are individual events, not a yearly Gregorian recurrence; a lunar birthday can move on the Gregorian calendar.
Method, source and limitations
Conversions use the site’s existing solarlunar 3.1.0 calendar data. Examples and leap-month behaviour are checked against Hong Kong Observatory Gregorian–lunar tables, including 2025–2027. This is not a claim that every date in 1901–2099 was independently verified. The Observatory notes possible one-day uncertainty for some far-future dates near midnight.
This tool does not calculate traditional Chinese age, gender predictions, astrology, or a birth-time chart. An exact birthplace/time-zone question requires separate handling. Date choices stay in this browser; optional tool events contain only tool and event identifiers.

A Lunar Birthday in a Leap Month: Which Date Do You Use? — In 2025, lunar month 6 began on June 25. Leap month 6 began on July 25. A birthday recorded simply as “6/1” is missing a detail you need before planning a celebration.

A lunar birthday can move to a different Gregorian date each year. Leap-month births and a missing day 30 need an explicit personal observance policy.
