CN 250, CN 40 and centimetres mean different things
A seller-confirmed 250 mm foot-length label is 25 cm. CN 40 may instead be an EU-style retail label. Selecting EU-style uses the exact label in the adidas table; a missing row is reported rather than interpolated into an invented size.

Measure the foot, not the shoe
- Stand with your weight on a flat surface and mark the heel and longest toe.
- Measure that distance on both feet; compare the longer foot with the brand’s instructions.
- Select centimetres, millimetres or inches above. If the length falls between chart rows, the tool shows both neighbours.
Inside length includes space inside a shoe. Selecting inside length converts cm to inches but does not infer a US size. Printed CM/JP labels can also differ from actual foot length: Nike explicitly distinguishes its CM label and foot-length measurements.
Why do other converters give a different answer?
Retail labels vary by brand and men’s/women’s chart. Width, toe shape, socks and the specific shoe model also affect fit. This tool reports exact matches and neighbouring reference rows without promising the shoe will fit. It does not extrapolate outside the supported adult chart or convert children’s sizes with adult formulas.
